A writer and community activist, Sara Bendetsky is the founder of Souper Kitchen charity providing free, home-style Kosher meals and groceries to all those in need in Melbourne - many of whom are Holocaust survivors and vulnerable Russian-speaking immigrants.
She's also the force behind Super Bistro, a social enterprise Eastern European cafe where all profits raised to go directly to supporting Souper Kitchen.
She established the Soft Landing Project that has supported thousands of Ukrainian displaced people in Australia since March 2022.
