Position: Secondary School Design and Technology Teacher (Graphic Design and / Fashion Design)

Time Fraction: Part Time

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Location: Girls' Campus, Elsternwick

Supervisor: Secondary General Studies Coordinator

Skills and Attributes:

· V.I.T. registration essential

· Demonstrated teaching ability in design technology

· English language skill appropriate to teaching Secondary students

· Interpersonal skills appropriate to teaching Secondary students

· A commitment to child safety, well-being and protection

Duties include:

Delivering components of the Design and Technology curriculum to Secondary students

Monitoring assessment and reporting of students' progress

Preparing and maintaining appropriate documentation pertaining to the delivery and assessment of the above 

Providing input to the ongoing review of curriculum for the above

Participating in quality assurance programs as required

Maintaining a duty of care in the classroom (This includes discipline, students' safety, well-being and protection and OH&S)

Other duties as required
