Council elections are in October. This is likely to be the first time many people will be able to vote at a council election because postal voting is now mandatory, instead of attendance voting on Shabbat.
If you are not enrolled to vote, please do so before August 28. You can vote in any council area where you live or own property/pay rates and you can vote in multiple councils if you qualify.
Help vote in independent councillors who will better represent you and our community, and make sure your rates are spent sensibly on services for the community, not for councillors pet projects.
