Help our brothers in Hungary make Yomtov!

LATIV of Budapest Hungary – Purim & Pesach appeal

After a successful visit by Rav Keleti of Budapest before the summer break, which included an evening that was warmly received and hosted at The Adass-Gutnick Hall Melbourne and The Central Synagogue Sydney, Lativ are running a campaign to raise much needed funds ahead of Purim and Pesach.

$30,000 is required to cover the expenses of the forthcoming Yomim Tovim, which includes rental of large venues and full seudos to enable the Yidden in Budapest to participate in the Seder and other Yom Tov meals.

Lativ needs to accommodate the students and families who are eager to be part of these Yomim Tovim, under the leadership of Rav Keleti, who has proven to not only convey what Yiddishkeit is, but give it over like father to son. Rav Keleti and his wife are like father and mother to the many who want to understand more about their heritage.

We kindly ask if you are able to assist in any way possible to help this campaign and thank you for being so supportive of his work.

Donations are tax deductible via the Chai Foundation and payments can be made online and in instalments. Just visit https://chai.org.au/lativ to find out how you can make your donation.
