I just want to let everyone know how fantastic the Bata factory store is. We got very well priced school shoes (pretty good quality in our experience) and there are many other different kinds of shoes at very reasonable prices. It's a bit of a shlep but I think it is worth it. There is no quid pro quo going on here, I just wanted to share my praise of them with everyone because of how well we were treated.
