St Kilda shule ’Sing as One’

St Kilda shule 'Sing as One'
~~~~~~~
The Power of Song
Social media has been used to cause so much hatred and division
Imagine
Using social media for love, unity, friendship and togetherness
Imagine
700 people who have never met, singing one song in unison
Many voices. One message.
~~~~~~~
The response to the announcement of our multi-faith social music initiative "Sing As One" has, not surprisingly, exceeded the 600-person capacity at Government House.
Therefore, the event will move to St Kilda Shule, 12 Charnwood Grove, St Kilda, where we have capacity for almost 1000 people.
As a result of the change of venue, a few other changes have been necessary and I list them below.
The new time will be 8:00pm (with gates open up to an hour earlier to accommodate the expected crowd. Assume that it will conclude by 10:00pm. The change of time will allow us to better control the lighting in the Shule for the production (which will commence at around 9:00pm after the hour-long rehearsals)
The new venue will be St Kilda Shule, 12 Charnwood Grove, St Kilda (remember that parking is also available in St Kilda Road)
There will be a $25 charge per person to cover most of the production costs.
Ideally, you (and your friends) will have an interest in singing before registering for this event.
Ticketing opens now via http://trybooking.com/BGGEJ until sold out. As this is an event open to the Victorian community, we expect that it will sell out quickly.
Not sure you've heard of a social music initiative?
