Journey to my roots
Jack Aghion was born in Alexandria, to a 250-year-established Egyptian Sephardi family. Forced to move in the late 1950's, Jack migrated to Sydney, Australia.
The family had always been cognisant of their Spanish roots and had much information on their past history. By using technology, Jack was able to organise, from Melbourne, a family conference to the original Spanish township of Ayllón in 2014, and to the Greek city of Thessaloniki in 2019 (seat of the family after the 1492 Spanish Exile).
The research which Jack will share with you, has been nothing but astounding.
