I am Bracha Rafael, an Arts Honours student at the University of Melbourne, writing a thesis on Shabbos candles, religious ritual, performance, and identity. I am seeking participants who light candles weekly to allow me to observe the ritual and to discuss their experiences of it immediately afterwards. Research will take place through May and June.
